AutoPage - Incoming Webhook - Jira Automation Integration

Section titled “AutoPage - Incoming Webhook - Jira Automation Integration”

AutoPage seamlessly integrates with Jira Automation, allowing you to leverage Jira’s powerful rule engine to create content-rich pages in Confluence.

AutoPage provides an incoming webhook as a trigger option within its rule configuration. This webhook can then be fired as an action directly from a Jira Automation rule. This integration enables you to automate the creation of Confluence pages based on various Jira Automation triggers.

First, create a rule in AutoPage and enable the “Incoming Webhook” as a trigger option. This can be combined with any other available trigger options.

  • Generate Header Value: Click “Generate” to create a unique Header-Value specifically for this rule.
  • Security Note: Be aware that the generated value can only be copied once for security reasons.
  • Regenerating Header Values: You have the option to reset the value and generate a new one. If you do so, you will need to update the information in any associated web requests.

Next, create a rule in Jira Automation. Add “Send Web Request” as an action.

  • Copy the webhook information provided in the AutoPage Rule configuration into the “Send web request” action in Jira Automation.
